Dr. Constantine Shustikoff, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist with over two decades of experience treating a wide range of psychiatric and neurological conditions. He earned his medical degree from Novosibirsk State Medical University in 1984 and completed his residency in psychiatry at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Shustikoff maintains hospital affiliations with Adventist HealthCare Fort Washington Medical Center and Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center, where he continues to provide comprehensive and compassionate psychiatric care.

With dual expertise in psychiatry and neurology, Dr. Shustikoff brings a unique clinical perspective to understanding the complex relationship between brain function and mental health. His professional interests include psychopharmacology, mood and anxiety disorders, neuropsychiatric conditions, and brain stimulation therapies, areas in which he combines scientific rigor with empathy-driven care.

At VCPS, Dr. Shustikoff provides clinical oversight and mentorship to the psychiatric nurse practitioner team, guiding providers in accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment planning, and best practices in medication management.
