Who We Are

At the Virginia Center for Psychological Services (VCPS), we are a multidisciplinary team of licensed psychotherapists and mental health professionals dedicated to delivering thoughtful, individualized care. Our clinicians draw from diverse clinical backgrounds and training to provide therapeutic support that is both compassionate and grounded in scientifically-informed, evidence-based practice.

We specialize in working with patients across the lifespan, including children (ages 4+), adolescents, college students, young adults, and adults. Our approach integrates a deep understanding of human experience with clinically sound strategies to help individuals and families navigate psychological distress, life transitions, and complex emotional challenges.

Our clinicians are trained to work with a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, offering diagnostic clarity and targeted treatment for conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, eating disorders, and challenges related to substance use. Beyond diagnosis and symptom relief, we help individuals and families address the impact of complex life experiences—such as trauma, histories of abuse or neglect, relational and family strain, grief and loss, academic and career pressures, military transitions, and court-involved matters.

We offer psychotherapy in both individual and group formats, as well as family sessions designed to enhance communication and strengthen relational dynamics. Whether you're seeking to manage a specific mental health diagnosis or to better understand patterns impacting your day-to-day life, our clinicians work collaboratively with you to tailor treatment to your unique goals.

We are proud to serve our local community through in-person sessions at our Ashburn, Virginia office, and to extend our reach through secure telehealth services offered across the state. Accessibility, respect, and clinical integrity are central to how we operate.

At VCPS, we view therapy as a process of exploration and empowerment. Our clinicians strive to build a meaningful therapeutic relationship where trust, progress, and emotional safety can flourish—always with your long-term well-being in mind.

Experienced. Empathic. Here for you.
