Dr. Jennie Polizzi serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Clinical Director at the Virginia Center for Psychological Services (VCPS). With decades of experience across mental health, social work, early childhood development, disability services, human services, and family coaching, Dr. Polizzi brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective to both clinical leadership and organizational strategy.
Dr. Polizzi is also a seasoned, doctoral-level psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and older adults across diverse cultural and social contexts.She integrates a strength-oriented and solution-focused approach, meeting patients where they are with transparency, respect, and empowerment. Her expertise spans trauma, crisis intervention, neurodivergence, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, military and domestic violence concerns, maternity and fertility challenges, and a broad range of anxiety and mood disorders. With advanced training in counselor education and supervision, Dr. Polizzi brings both clinical depth and leadership, equipping patients and clinicians alike to build resilience, foster healthy relationships, and achieve meaningful growth.
